HAPPY THIRD BIRTHDAY TO ENVIRONMENTAL MANAGEMENT & SOLUTIONS LTD

After a whirlwind year accumulating in being awarded a £812,000 Big Lottery grant along with the EMS Ltd family expanding (Becky Norman is currently on maternity after giving birth to a boy in May).

Jan Boyd, Chief Executive of EMS Ltd, is going to take some time today to reflect on the hectic last 12 months and the 3 years that EMS has been in operation.

She said: “The last three years seem to have gone by in the blink of an eye and I would like to thank the staff and Trustees of the company for all their hard work.”

“All of our endeavours came to fruition in August with the Big Lottery notification but I am well aware that with just that one phone conversation even more hard work was just around the corner. We all relish the challenge and look forward to working with our partners, Probe (Hull) Ltd, PRNDC, East Hull Community Farm, Hull College and Hull City Council on the launch of the Green Prosperity Project in January 2013.”

However Jan and her team can’t rest on their laurels as a number of projects are still being delivered by EMS Ltd throughout Hull, including Neighbourhood Management in Southcoates East and the Bricknell Community allotment.

On a final note Jan said; “It’s been a bumper 2012 so we hope to make 2013 even better, watch this space for additional environmental activities and projects.”
